Deep Dive … Immerse Yourself

im·merse

1. To cover completely in a liquid; submerge
2. To baptise by submerging in water
3. To engage wholly or deeply; absorb: scholars who immerse themselves in their subjects
When was the last time you engaged wholly with something?
I love attending courses, retreats, workshops.  I love listening, learning, challenging my preconceptions and knowledge.
I love having the time to do a deep dive into something and immerse myself for a period of time.
Saying that, in my mind, immersion training is something that is more than a day, possibly more than a weekend.
Over the years, I have immersed myself with numerous fitness industry professionals, yoga teachers, as well as world renown people such as Anthony Robbins and Richard Bandler.
To spend time, switched off and having the opportunity to indulge, to spend time with someone I respect.  To learn from them.  To just be in their company.
Yes, it has cost me financially …
but, to me, is worth the investment.
I know I have grown from each immersive experience.  Each have impacted on my thinking, my work and how I teach and who I am as a person.
When was the last time you immersed yourself?
Would you like to?
xx Ann-See 🙂
