I love quotes; always have. In fact, the last time I saw my mum, she handed me a tattered notebook of mine that I had kept through my teenage years full of quotes and short poems. As I flicked through it, it did make me wonder how my philosophy and beliefs have not changed much at all. Perhaps we do truly know who we are and who we should be, yet life seems to colour that view somehow.
As I leave you with that thought, here is a poem I came across in my collection. The author is unknown:
